Reasi, Dec 19: Students of Amba Kids School, Painthal today staged a street play on road safety in a special programme organized at Bus Stand here by Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO), Reasi. The school children through their mesmerizing performance spread the message of taking precautionary measures while driving any kind of vehicle. In the play, students made aware the people about the dangers of not wearing crash helmets, drunk driving, driving without wearing seat belts and using mobile phone while driving. Speaking to media persons, ARTO Reasi Rajesh Gupta informed that the programme was an effort to send a message among general public to ensure safe driving so that precious human lives could be saved adding more such street plays focussing road safety will be organized in the entire district in near future.
On the occasion, Assistant Labour Commissioner Seema Kharyal, ARTO Reasi Rajesh Gupta, MVD Inspector Vikas Srivats, Presidents Bus Union and Matador Union besides large number of Panchs, Sarpanchs and locals were also present. |
