MENDHAR, Dec 19 : A woman died of burn injuries under mysterious circumstances at her residence at Pathana Pir here this evening.
Police said Rakiza Begum (45), wife of Manzoor Hussain of Pathana Pir, allegedly poured kerosene oil on her and set herself ablaze at about 8.30 pm, resulting in her death.
The body was yet to be shifted to the mortuary of SDH, Mendhar. Police had registered a case in this connection and initiated proceedings under section 174 of CrPC. |
