| Council assures help to Vipul, Divum | | |

JAMMU, Jan 18: The State Sports Council has assured help to the top state shuttler, Vipul Saini and budding talent, Divum Gupta in honing their skills thus facilitating advance training.
Though a final decision in this regard is yet to be taken, still the Secretary State Sports Council, Dilip Thusu has made it public to send these two budding badminton players for advance coaching, most probably at the Gopi Chand Academy.
The Secretary was speaking at the valedictory function of 41st State Badminton Championship, organised by J&K Badminton Association, here yesterday. In fact, president of the Association, Sudershan Singh Wazir had proposed advance training for Vipul and Divum and the proposal was accepted by the Secretary, State Sports Council with a promise to extend financial help. |
