Srinagar, Mar 17: Days after former SSP, Ashiq Bukhari made startling revelations against former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah regarding the arrest of separatist Leader, Masrat Alam in 2010, Separatists faction moved the court for action against the duo. Hardliner Separatist Faction led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani (G) of which recently released Separatist leader, Masrat Alam is also a member today submitted an application to the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Srinagar for filing an FIR against the former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and former SSP Srinagar Ashiq Bukhari with regard to the 2010 civilian killings and revelations made by Bukhari against Omar in connection with his arrest in 2010. General secretary, Ghulam Nabi Sumji according to details submitted an application with CJM Srinagar appealing him to lodge an FIR against Omar and Bukhari and CJM according to sources has forwarded the application to the SSP Srinagar for necessary action and submit a report on or before April 6.Pertinently Ashiq Bukhari was SSP Srinagar during the 2010 unrest and as per details available arround 120 youngsters mostly students were killed in police action at different places across the kashmir. As the controversy between Omar Abdullah and Ashiq Bukhari surfaced last year when Omar during a political rally in North Kashmir turned Bukhari a 'Killer', however very recently Bukhari reacting back made some startling revelations against Omar to the extent that Bukhari, reportedly claimed that Omar Abdullah, wanted to see Masrat Alam dead and paid him a cash reward of Rs 2.5 million after the arrest of Masrat Alam. Bukhari alleged that 'Masrat sponsored and controlled the three-month-long mayhem in Kashmir'following which government put a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head and added that Chief minister asked him 'Why didn't you bump off this man? Why did you get him alive?' He said that there was only cash reward of Rs10 lakh on his head but Omar Abdullah gave him extra 15 Lakh from his own pocket and granted out of turn promotion to seven police personnel's. Bukhari in that conversation has also reportedly said that "Militants separatists like Masarat Alam are not masquerading as the Indian nationalists; It is actually our mainstream political leaders who have destroyed Kashmir and future of our three generations under the politics of camouflage."Pertinently controversy erupted last year when Omar Abdullah during his elections rallies in North Kashmir and Srinagar allegedly termed Bukhari as Killer of innocents of 2010 street killings across Kashmir and Bukhari who had joined People's Democratic Party was almost disowned by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
