Jammu, Mar 17: The General Administrative Department today formally issued appointment orders of supportive staff including OSD/ Special Assistant/ Private Secretary/Additional Private Secretary with majority of the ministers who assumed office after taking oath on March 1,2015. As per the details available with Early Times out of 16 cabinet ministers, staff was posted with 13 cabinet ministers while the others including Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh holding charge of Minister for Power Development & Housing and Urban Development, Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali Minister for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution and Tribal Affairs & Sajad Gani Lone Minister for Science & Technology and Animal Husbandry are yet to finalize the list of staff to be posted with them while all other 9 ministers finalized the names.
As per GAD appointed Afaq Ahmed, Technical PA with Excise Commissioner, as Additional Private Secretary to Abdul Rehman Veeri Minister for Horticulture and Haj & Auqaf, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, KAS, as OSD & Anshumali Sharma (Junior KAS:2011) as Additional Private Secretary with Chander Parkash Minister for Industries and Commerce, Jahangir Hashmi, KAS, as Special Assistant to Javaid Mustafa Mir Minister for Revenue, Suraj Parkash Rukwal, KAS, as OSD to Lal Singh Minister for Health and Medical Education and ARI and Trainings, Abdul Ahad, CPO, Kupwara, as Special Assistant to Abdul Haq Khan Minister for Rural Development, Ram Savak, KAS, as OSD, Arun Kumar Bajaj (Under Secretary), as Additional Private Secretary to Bali Bhagat Minister for Social Welfare, Forest, Ecology and Environment, Aziz Ahmad Rather, DPO, Ganderbal (2008 batch), as Additional Private Secretary to Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari Minister for Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs and Relief & Rehabilitation, Piyush Dhotra (Jr. KAS:2011) as Additional Private Secretary Sukhnandan Kumar Minister for Public Health Engineering, Irrigation & Flood Control, Haris Ahmad Handoo, KAS, as OSD, Aijaz Ahmad Shigon, as Private Secretary to Haseeb A. Similarly like cabinet ministers, ministers of State out of 8 MoS, only three ministers finalize the staff which include Nisar Ahmad, Geologist-I, as Special Assistant, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Private Secretary to Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Power Development and Housing & Urban Development, Mohammad Latif, KAS, as Special Assistant, Ajay Bharti (Jr. KAS:2011), as Additional Private Secretary to Abdul Ghani Kohli, Minister of State for Transport (Independent charge), Rural Development and Horticulture and Rohit Sharma, KAS, as Special Assistant, Kanwal Krishan Ganjoo, Private Secretary to . Priya Sethi, Minister of State for Information, Education and Culture while other ministers include Pawan Kumar Gupta, Minister of State for Finance and Information Technology, Ms. Asiya Naqash, Minister of State for Health, Social Welfare, Chering Dorjay, Minister of State for Cooperative (Independent Charge) and MoS Ladakh Affairs, Abdul Majid Padder, Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Irrigation & Flood Control, Animal Husbandry and Forest & Sunil Kumar Sharma, Hon'ble Minister of State for Public Works (R&B) and Revenue are yet to finalize the staff for his office. As per GAD, the staff posted with the ministers is in accordance with the guidelines framed by the government. |
