JAMMU, Mar 17 : Apple Kids International Pre-School Bantalab organised parental counselling session to bridge the gap between parents and the institution at the school premises here today. The counselling session was inaugurated on a positive note by the Principal of the school, Puja Sharma, who invited parents for the interaction and guidance. An eminent psychologist and school counsellor, Dr Chand Trehan, took up an effective session wherein she exhorted the parents to focus on proper grooming during the foundation years of their children. Also CBSE panel counsellor, Dr Trehan apprised of the audience of different parenting styles like authoritarian, permissive and democratic. He told the parents that there was need to keep a positive outlook towards life and inculcate values in the tiny toddlers from the very beginning were highlighted. The concept of sharing is caring was emphasized. "The session organized for the benefit of the parents and their children was very purposeful. Dr Chand Trehan not only provided the parents with effective parenting tips regarding child development but also settled the queries of the parents," informed one of the Directors of the School, Rahul Sharma. |
