JAMMU, Mar 17 : Jammu Sanskriti School orgainsed a workshop on Bloom's Taxonomy in the School Premises. Trilok Singh Bisht (Principal Jodhmal Pulbic School was the resource person & took a very lively and interactive workshop .Teachers from Jagriti Balwadi Sangam School also participated in the workshop. The workshop was based upon 'think about thinking'. and deliberated upon importance and opportunity for professional progression teachers learnt how to make the lessons more interesting through knowledge, understanding, applying, analyzing, creating and evaluating. The Six levels of teaching by Boom's taxonomy need attention at all levels. Various activities like enacting on stories etc were a part of the workshop. Active participation of teachers was there with lots of interaction and activities. Bisht said, we teachers need to focus on innovations in teaching, which can lead to inclusive development. Rohini Aima Prinicpal cum Vice-Chairperson expressed her gratitude to the resource persons and said that such workshops enhance and broaden the horizon of teachers outlook & professional competency. She said that deliberations held during the workshop will be fruitful for the teachers and students when implemented in the class-Room situations. |
