National Highway to remain closed on March 28

JAMMU, Mar 25 : In an official communique from IG Traffic Jammu the general public is informed that the NHW-IA (Srinagar-Jammu National Highway) shall remain closed on March 28, 2015 and no movement of vehicular traffic, whatsoever, either from Jammu or Valley shall be allowed on NHW-IA . This will be effective from 1500 hours of March 27, 2015.The decision has been taken to carry out the repair of portion of road at Magarkote that has sunk and other bottlenecks which could not be addressed earlier by the concerned authority due to continuous flow of traffic on NHW-IA after it was temporally restored for one way traffic.
