Rajesh Jain takes charge of Chairman Industries

Jammu, Mar 25: In a Meeting of Federation of Industries (FOI), Jammu held today at the premises of Association of Industries (regd.), AOI Bhawan, Gangyal, Jammu, Rajesh Jain took over the charge as Chairman, Federation of Industries (FOI), Jammu and Anil Suri, President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association and S. B. Abrol as Secretary General, Federation of Industries, Jammu.
The change of guard took place in keeping with the constitution provisions of Federation of Industries, Jammu.
Rajesh Jain, the new Chairman, Federation of Industries, Jammu, in his address to the impressive gathering at the Association complex assured that with the support of all constituents of Federation of Industries viz. Bari-Brahmana / Birpur / Digiana / Gangyal / Samba & Kathua, the relevant issues pertaining to the industrial sector, especially the local entrepreneurs of Micro & Small Enterprises (MSE units) of Jammu province will be taken up with the State Govt. Dept's and its functionaries to solve their burning problems being faced by the Jammu Industry.
He further said that the ongoing problems will be solved like Central package of incentives which has been partially withdrawn in steps like Central Excise exemption in March 2008, Income Tax exemption in March 2012, CIS & Khasra neutrality for DIPP in June 2012 etc. and for this, the FOI delegation with Hon'ble Minister for Industries, J&K, Chander Prakash will proceed to Delhi to take up these matters with the Hon'ble Prime Minister & Finance Minister, Govt. of India soon. In addition to this, he said, "our aim and objective is to focus on bring new investments in our region from outside the State as well as inside the State and making all efforts for growth, promotion and sustainability of the existing industry".
Annil Suri (President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association), Romesh Badyal (President, Birpur Industries Association), Vijay Aggarwal (President, Association of Industries, Samba), Jatinder Aul (President, Digiana Industries Association), Ajit Bawa, (President, Kathua Small Scale Industries Association), Devinder Verma, (President, Industries Association, Kathua Distt.) were also elected as co-chairman FOI Jammu.
A host of distinguished Members of Association of Industries, Gangyal, and the Office Bearers of various Industries Associations were also participated on this occasion.
