Doda, Aug 3: Low Paid employees Federation (LPEF) today held meeting in which they highlighted demands.
According to press release, the meeting was chaired by District president Niaz Ahmed Rahi while senior leader of the federation Ghulam Hassan Pampuri also attended.
The speakers highlighted various demands including regularization of daily rated and need based workers serving in various government departments, release of 6 percent DA due from January 2015, release of 6th pay commission arrears in favour of employees , removing the pay anomaly of clerks and release of salary in favour of teachers who are without pay for the last six months , increasing the medical allowance from Rs 300 to 1000 and issuing uniforms to the safai karamcharis of Municipal Committee Doda.
Shaklee Ahmed Dev, Roman Singh, Farooq Ahmed Batt, Hari Krishan Gh Rasool and Rascal Singh were also attended the meeting. |
