SAMBA, Aug 31 : 1st Shaheed Manohar Lal Kabbadi Championship concluded today at Nav Vidhalya Dhalote organized by Sports Development Society Samba and District Samba Kabbadi Association.
Eight selected teams of different schools and sports clubs participated in the championship wherein Nav Vidhya Dhalote defeated JBS Club Dabri by 17 points and Kabbadi Club Taloor defeated Unique Public School Jatwal by 9 points in semi final.
The final match was played between the Nav Vidhya High School Dhalote and Kabbadi Club Taloor whereafter Nav Vidya School Dhalote defeated Kabbadi Club Taloor by 3 points and won the final.
Joginder Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Samba was the Chief Guest along with Sanjeev Padha (Mandal President BJP Samba) and Additional Superintendent of Police Faisal Quarshi were the Guest of the Honour and distributed the Medals and Trophies among the winners. Krishan Singh (President) and Vinod Sharma (Gen. Secy) Sports Development Society Samba were also present on the occasion.
Other Distingue guests were Anil Rasgotra (President Bhorna Youth Committee), Sanjeev Chib SHO Samba, Amit Kumar, Sanjeev Singh, Vikka Sharma, Jeeta Choudhary, Jyoti Kundral, Shival Rajput and Shweta Sharma were also present.
