Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 29: With race to the headship of the state unit of Bhartiya Janata party warming up, old ideologue and noted lawyer, Chander Mohan Sharma has emerged as the front runner. Sharma, who many believe has not been given a fair deal by the party, has struck to the party and its ideology. He however was part of the revived Praja Parishad that was floated by the group of unsatisfied leaders, only to return home. Sharma has been accredited for being honest, articulate and loyal to party's fundamental ideology. Sharma also started Tawi conservation initiative that received encouraging response, but could not sustain the impressive beginning. One of the senior leaders in the party hierarchy, Sharma may be the dark horse has he defies strong factionalism within the party and is acceptable to all the factions. |
