Poonch, Nov 20: A meeting of Shia Federation held at Imam Bargah Poonch under the presidentship of Syed Zaki Haider Kazmi wherein the problems being faced by the community were discussed at length.
While speaking on the occasion, some demands were highlighted which include provision of link road from Punjab National Bank to Degree College Poonch over the nallah, provision of state/waqaf land for the purpose of Eidgah Poonch and Surankote, provision of land for Shia grave yards, completion of roads under construction at village Sangla, Gursai, Sanai, Gulpur, Gali Pindi and other pockets of district Poonch, provision of electricity where electric connections are still awaited, special employment package for the un employed youth of district Poonch, due political representation to Shia Community in government particularly in Jammu province. |
