Ramban, Nov 20: Congress Seva Dal of district Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar has extended its support to ongoing strike of Baghliar Hydroelectric Project workers union.
The workers union started its strike nine days back against JK associate limited, a construction contractor.
According to press release, its Engineer Surinder Singh Manhas had assured the poor peoples of the project those who are sacrificed his whole life for the completion of 900mw power supply for the benefit of the nation, would not be ignored.
He said that Congress Seva Dal's thousands grass roots level workers and leaders are openly in the support of poor peoples' upto till they do not get justice, from JP company.
He demanded implementation of 2008 previous govt.as per agreement in the favour of thousands poor peoples.
He said that the company must follow the government agreement without any delay, Manhas said if the workers genuine demands are not met immediately then the Seva Dal, has to take stern action for the cause of workers. |
