Jammu, Nov 20: To train the students and staff members in dealing with emergency situations like disasters and helping people, 5 days Basic Civil Defence Training programme organized by Civil Defence, Jammu at Government Women College, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in which 100 students are participated.
The training programme organized under the guidance of Addl. Director General of Police HG / Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K and close supervision of Tajinder Kour, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu and she highlighted the needs / role of Civil Defence. The main aim of the training programme was to facilitate the students / teaching staff members with regard to preventive history of Civil Defence and importance of Earth Quake, Fire Fighting, First Aid & Floods.
