Early Times Report Kathua, Nov 20, The Second Task Force Committee (TFC) Meeting under the Chairmanship of Ramesh Kumar, District Development Commissioner (DDC) , Kathua sanctioned 20 Self Employment cases approved for amounting to Rs 25.15 Lakhs. The beneficiaries are residing in Municipal limits of Kathua Town and are from urban under privileged society (poor). Ramesh Kumar, District Development Commissioner (DDC) , Kathua exhorted the beneficiaries to make maximum use of the self employment help and help others to get employment. Earlier at the onset of occasion Jaffer Abass Member Secretary, TFC highlighted the features of National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) launched by Government of India as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme and achievements in Kathua Town made by DUDA, Kathua and briefed the guidelines of the Scheme "Self Employment Programme". Er Mavi Kapoor, Manager (SM&ID) and Bushan Singh Chauhan, Manager (S&ME) informed about the procedure for availing the loan assistance saying that minimum age should be 18 years and Maximum Project Cost Rs 2.00 Lakhs for an Individual and Rs 10.00 Lakhs for Group while no collateral is required as per RBI circular. The sponsored cases placed before the Committee were of the nature viz Opening Dairy, Provisional Stores, Karyana & Cosmetic Shops, Fruits & Vegetables Vending, Purchase of Load Career, Paper Disposal Unit, Footwear, Teedy making, Wedding Decorator etc. Other members of the TFC namely R K Arora, Chief Manager, PNB, Kathua, Dharam Pal, Functional Manager, DIC Kathua, Sansar Chand, FLCC LBO SBI Kathua and Jagdeep Sharma, Zonal Officer, J&K Bank also were present in this meeting. |
