Murder case solved, accused held | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 20: With the arrest of murder accused, Poonch police today claimed to have cracked a murder case of a Bihari labourer who was found dead in village Chandook in Poonch. According to police spokesperson, the deceased identified as Madan Ram son of Lallal Ram of Bihar presently staying at Chandook was found murdered on October 9. "The deceased had visible injury marks on his neck, police said. After taking cognizance in this regard, SSP Poonch Jatinder Singh Johar constituted a team of SHO Poonch Jatinder Raina and SI Altaf Hussain work out the case and during investigation, police detained Amleshdar son of Sukhiari of Bihar presently staying at Chandook. "During sustained interrogation, accused Amleshdar broke down and confessed his crime, police spokesperson said. A case under FIR 162/15 u/s 302 of RPC has already been registered in this regard and further legal procedure is on in the case. |
