Adbi Kunj holds literary meet, remembers Pt Nehru | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 20: Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu held multifaceted creative literary Tributes meet at its literary centre in the premises of Zee Pre Kidzee School Talab Tillo, Jammu. The meet was presided over by a prominent Urdu short story writer and critic Dr. Mushtaq Wani whereas a well known Urdu poet Tariq Raza was the guest of honour. In the opening of the meet, TARHI POETIC was held in which poets recited their Tarhi Ghazals. In the second session the meet celebrated the birth anniversary of legendary personalities 9th November the birth of Shair-e-Mashraq Elama Iqbal celebrated as international Urdu Day. 14th November the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India as a Children day. On that occasion various literary luminaries of the meet threw light on the various aspects of the lives and their shining contribution in their fields. In the prose session of the meet, the presentations included Pt Nehru-Batore-Intellectural and Adeeb (Urdu) by Sham Talib, Elama Iqbal-Aur-Urdu day (Urdu) by Aarash Om Dalmotra, a Hindi short story Vichlan by K L Dewana, a Dogri short story Shafa Khana (by Munstaq Wani. The other literary luminaries who shared the meet included Dr. Mushtaq Wani, Tariq Raza, Aarash Om Dalmotra, Kulbir Singh Badal, M.S. Kamra, Bishan Dass Khak, Raj Kamal, Sanjeev Kumar, S.K. Gupta, Malik Singh Wafa, Ved Uppal, Aftab Manhas, Charan Singh Chann, Dr. raj Kumari Sehgal, Santosh Nadan, Fozia Mughal, Abdul Jabar, Raj Kumar Uttam, Ch. Manzoor Badana and Sham Talib. The meet come to end with the vote of thanks by organizer Ved Uppal. |
