Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 1: Following complaints of non supply of ration to the exiled community, a high level team of All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders (AKMRH) of Jagti took stock of three ration depots at Jagti and found that ration supply is inadequate but also is of poor quality. According to spokesperson AKMRH, the team found that rice and atta are not of quality while sugar was has not been supplied for the last month (November) till date. Team was apprised that the ration often is made available in last dates of the month and by the time the tenants at Jagti Colony manage to buy ration from open market. The team has urged to Minister for CA&PD to supply good quality ration and to make it (ration) available by 15th of every month at CA&PD depots. Later team visited EDB where relief holders complained that after receiving relief cheques the EDB takes longer duration to clear the cheques. Team appealed chairman ED Bank to look into the matter so that migrant may not suffer in future, otherwise relief accounts will be transferred to other banks. Team visited also at Jagti where some lanes 15, 16, 17 and other lanes area which was fiound unhygienic and not cleaned properly. Team appealed relief authorities to look into the matter so that migrant may not suffer and appealed Relief Commissioner to visit every camp twice a month. During its visit at Govt. Dispensary in Jagti Migrant Colony, the team found that there is he shortage of basic and vital medicines while ambulance was found non functional from last six months. Team comprising Rajinder Pandit, Raju Bhan, O.N Moti, M.L Ganjoo, Rajesh, R.K, Tej Krishan, Tej Kumar Dhar, Maharaj Krishan, Ajay Bhat, Roshan Lal, Rajeev Ganjoo, Santosh and others said that the road connectivity to Jagti Camp from Kandoli Nagrota is in bad shape and urged authorities to maintain it. |
