SAMBA, Apr 17: Deputy Commissioner, Sheetal Nanda today visited Chachwal, a border village of Rajpura Tehsil, and inspected Girdawari of the village. The DC was accompanied by Tehsildar Rajpura Preeti Sharma, Naib Tehsildar and other revenue staff.
The DC directed the patwaris to perform harvest inspections with utmost sincerity as it helps collection of information regarding crops, changes in rights and possession of land. Later, the DC held a meeting with villagers and listened to their demands and grievances. She assured them that the district administration shall make efforts to address their concerns under available schemes. |
