| EWRA holds general election meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 17 : A meeting of all J&K CPMF Ex-serviceman Welfare and Rehabilitation Association held at Shakti Nagar Bawa Palace Jammu under the chairmanship of working President R.L Dogra. The meeting was called to conduct general election of the association and to take appropriate actions on the suggestions placed by the members before the empowered committee.
It had become imperative to fill up the space created due to untimely demise of Late Kartar Chand Bhagat by fair and free election system. A huge numbers of ex-service men assembled in the meeting hall from various districts of Jammu province.
The speakers while speaking on the occasion agreed and supported the proposal unanimously in one voice, but at the same time they expressed their concern over such unwanted delay of the election process.
The members suggested that the honest, pains-taking and dedicated office bearers should be brought in to the fold who can dare to fight with upcoming challenges and counter the menace of false promises made by the authorities at the helm of affairs to get their old pending genuine demands\problems addressed which have been put in old store till date Hence forth all the suggestions of the members categorically accepted by the committee and Main body and District bodies are set to be dissolved with immediate effect. |
