NMC urges PM to announce additional grants for daily wagers 4/17/2016 11:10:30 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 17 : National Mazdoor Conference President Subash Shastri today urged Prime Minister Naren-dra Modi to announce additional grants for daily wagers during his visit at Katra. Shastri also appealed Chief Minister, Dy. Chief Minister and State Finance Minister to expedite the noble cause of absorption of these daily rated workers besides provision of additional funds while the recommendations of the 7th pay commission are implemented. He further reminded Narendra Modi and BJP brass to fulfill their commitment and assurances which they had promised in manifesto adding his reiterated observation that Modi is the only leader capable of resolving these two major long awaited issues to steer BJP boat in the coming civic election which is going to be held in near future as the same is to be projected as a major issues in these election. He demanded an early release of another pending installment of DA due from January this year as the central as well as several state governments have already released it in favour its employees and pensioners well before Darbar Move. Release of all pending wages of Daily rated workers who are working in various state departments and also enhancing their wages Rs 10000 per month.
