Storekeeper Bhatyas booked for misappropriation of Govt Ration 4/17/2016 11:21:03 PM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, Apr 17: Acting tough against the corrupt practices and illegal sale and embezzlement of government ration, Assistant Director Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CA&PD) department Doda ordered immediate suspension of storekeeper Bhatyas in Gundow Sub Division of District Doda after he was booked for misappropriation of government ration. As per the details available with "Early Times", Assistant Director CA&PD Doda vide order No. 20-22/CAPD/D/2016 dated 16-04-2016 while acting on the telephonic directions of Director CAPD placed Abdul Rashid Zarger Class IV (I/C Storekeeper Bhatyas) under suspension. Assistant Director CA&PD Doda in his order stated that Tehsil Supply Officer Bhatyas vide his office letter No. 05/CAPD/B/16, dated 16-04-2016 addressed to accused storekeeper Abdul Rashid Zarger directed him to attend his office immediately along with complete record of store as it has come to the notice of TSO Bhatyas that storekeeper has unauthorizedly and without any legal authority unloaded the ration outside the food store Bhatyas despite availability of space at government food store; but the accused storekeeper paid no heed to the TSO Bhatyas letter forcing him (TSO Bhatyas) to write another letter to him in the evening vide No. 07/CAPD/B/2016 dated 16-04-16 informing that storekeeper has failed to attend his office and also did not responded to his repeated telephonic calls. He further stated that SHO Police Station Gundow has taken the cognizance of unloading of ration in private building and as such has taken the storekeeper along with him for enquiry. "Whereas, it may be pertinent to mention over here that TSO Bhatyas had previously also vide his letter No. 96-97/CAPD/B/16 dated 01-03-2016, directed the storekeeper to submit the record for examination which he has failed to provide before the TSO and in light of the same this office had already withheld the salary for the month of February and March in favour of the storekeeper" read Assistant Director CA&PD Doda letter.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
