| People protest, block road against CA&PD Deptt | | |

Udhampur, Apr 26: Locals people protest agents Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CA&PD) Deportment at Jakhani Domial Udhampur to register their protest against irregular supply of ration.
Raising sloganeering against CA&PD Department, the agitating people alleged that they are not getting ration from last four months.
One among protestors Peer Gulzar Shah said that CAPD department is distributing raw wheat to ration depots under the name of National Food Policy but there are no gridding shops in urban area where the problems is becoming worst. He said that Union Government is imposing unethical, unpractical policies without knowing ground realities which increasing the public problems. He further said public was waiting for good days (Ache Din) as claimed by Modi ji during his election campaign but after the lapse of twenty months the 'ache din' still are far away from reality for the people. Protestors alleged unemployed youth, farmers, small traders and common man are frustrated due to hike in prices of essential commodities and the flawed policies of Union Government. |
