Jammu, Apr 26: Marriage party turns into crash when a Delhi based youth was allegedly stabbed by two local youth over money dispute in a marriage party at Gandhi Nagar area last night. "The injured has been identified as Anurag of Tilak Nagar Delhi, police sources said. Sources said that Anurag had come there to attend marriage ceremony of her sister-in-law in Gandhi Nagar where he got engaged in some heated arguments with two local youth over a 'money dispute'. "The heated arguments took ugly turn when the local youth identified as Honney and Sanam of Nanak Nagar allegedly attacked him and stabbed him with a sharp-edged weapon, they added, adding, " the accused fled from the spot after inflicting injuries to Anurag. "The victim was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for treatment while the assailants were arrested by police which promptly reacted to the incident, they added. Police sources said that a case under FIR 96/16 u/s 307, 452/34 and 4/25 of Arms Act stands registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and further investigation is in progress. |
