DS,NS, Apr 26 : Annual inter school Taekwondo meet of district Samba for under-17 boys and girls, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), concluded at Humanity Public High School in Bari Brahmna.
Around 32 boys and girls drawn from five zones of the district took part in the competition, a handout issued here today said.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by the district officer, Subash Chander Bhardwaj. Also present were Zonal Physical Education Officers (ZPEOs), B D Sharma and Pardeep Singh. Vice Principal of Humanity Public School, Anku Charak was among those special guests. Among others present were Anirudh Singh Slathia, Sanjay Gupta, Rekha Sambyal, Nav Jyoti, Raj Singh Chib, Zorawar Singh Sambyal, Suman Bala Sharma, Hardeep Singh, Raju Sharma, Mohinder Kumar and Pankaj Kumar (coach). |
