Mendhar, Apr 25: Early Times reporter for Poonch district showed an act of humanity when he alone shifted an injured who was hit by a video coach bus to hospital despite craving for help on roadside for more than 5 hours here today.
A video coach Jammu bound bus bearing Regn No. KJ12 5965 hit a pedestrian Abdul Khaliq, 45, S/O Lal Din near Hakin Morh infront Horticulture Department here, at 8 am and fled from the spot leaving the injured on the roadside craving for help. Though the people informed the police but no one turned up for help to poor to shift him hospital for treatment.
At 1 pm ET reporter received a phone call regrinding the incident who within minutes reached the spot and arranged a hand-cart and took the injured to hospital for treatment. Many people standing around him never offered any help to injured to take him hospital but to on look like mute spectators was an act against humanity.
The injured's arm was already fractured some ten years ago during cross firing. This time his foot got injured severely sources said.
