Jammu, May 28: Police today have booked a man and his mother for their alleged involvement assaulting his wife in city outskirts under jurisdiction of Domana Police Station. "The accused have been identified as Rajesh Kumar and Rajni Devi, police sources said.
Sources said, "Two persons including a man and his mother were booked after a woman lodged complaint with police alleging therein assaulting her."
"Complainant namely as Sapna in her complaint stated that she was badly beaten by her husband and her mother in law after she failed to fulfill their demand of dowry," police sources said. Police sources said that following the complaint, Domana police accordingly booked the duo in a case registered at concerned Police Station under section 498 RPC. |
