Jammu, May 28: A police officer of Sunderbani is alleged to have blackmailed a private school principal in the area for his 'extra-marital' affair with a school teacher.
Police sources after the police officer came to know about the extra marital affair of the principal with the teacher, he started keeping a track on them and also put his men on the job.
A few days back, the police officer came to know from his sources that both were present in the school during evening hours. When he clandestinely entered the school premises, he found them in 'objectional' position.
However, instead of taking any action against them, he blackmailed them and the matter was hushed up after they paid him Rs 2.50 lakh, sources alleged.
An influential man of Sunderbani was also alleged to have blackmailed them and extracted money from them. "The principal and the teacher also belong to influential families," sources informed. |
