Kathua, June 28: The resident of Nagyal village of tehsil Hiranagar today stages protest demonstration against Power Development Department for not providing regular power supply to the area.
Dalijinder Singh, a villager said that they did not get power supply for a month as electric transformer got out of order but despite several reminders to PDD officials, the department failed to replace defunct transformer due to which few families of the villages engulfed toxic insect in darkness resulting vomiting and skin diseases.
They appealed Deputy Commissioner Kathua to direct PDD Xen to immediate replace the defunct transformer, so that 120 families of the village not suffer more. |
