Jammu, Sept 15: Celebrating Engineer's Day, a seminar was organized at Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu (MBSCET) on "Skill Development for Young Engineers to Reform the Core Sector: Vision 2025". According to press release, the seminar was inaugurated by Chairman MBSCET, S. Rangil Singh and Prof. S.K. Badyal was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The students from various engineering streams: Himanshi Sharma, Baljeet Kour, Simranjeet Kour, Ridyansh Gupta, Arushi Sharma, Nidhi Rajput, Amit Pal Singh, Rahul Bhargav, Aditi Sharma, Sonali Sanyal, Sameer Sharma and Prabhgun Gupta made presentations on the subject connected on the theme of the seminar. Prof. S.K. Badyal in this presentation detailed out the present national and global engineering scenario in the core sector and importance of skill development to tap the emerging opportunities of global market in next few years. Other's present on the occasion were S. Lakhbir Singh Bawa , Prof. A.S. Sudan , Prof. Amrik Singh, Prof. Parveen Singh, S.H.S. Gill , Heads of Departments , faculty members and students. |
