They further said that another CPO, who had earned notoriety for being part of Mafia is also sticking at same place since 2009. Sources further said that interference of politicians as well as senior officers have ruined the police department. "J&K Police as an institution is facing credibility crisis which is a challenge from within", they claimed.
"A report was submitted by none other than Director Land Records to Home Department for initiating action against, the Police officers found involved in encroachment of government land. But unfortunately, the Home Department instead of initiating action, kicked the ball into Secretary Revenue's court for seeking comments despite the matter being substantiated", they added.
"Assets of Senior Police officers dealing with these transfers be evaluated by some independent agency and an audit conducted to PHQ, ZPHQs", victim officers urged upon Chief Minister, adding that verification be conducted into illegal money officers have utilized on their children who are undergoing professional courses in top professional colleges outside state.
