Sunderbani, Sept 15: In an incident which could anytime take a dangerous turn, Nowshera constituency MLA has threatened a Sunderbani Police post Munshi if he does not restraint from questioning a fraudster who is a very close aide of the MLA.
Sources said that the MLA allegedly was found to be double crossing a gullible loan giver while backing his 'goonda' loan taker over a loan of Rs 20,000 that his close aide was not repaying. He added that Des Raj of Sunderbani, had in 2013, lend a sum of Rs 20000 to one Girdhari Lal of Sunderbani on a promise that the latter would repay the loan as soon as possible.
Three years after continuously demanding his money back from Girdhari Lal, who often denied him repayment, Des raj approached a local Thana at Sunderbani and lodged a complaint against Girdhari Lal. Knowing the case, sources said that the MLA interrupted and assured Des Raj that his money will be paid back and allegedly asked Girdhari Lal to give back the money.
Sources further said that SHO Sunderbani called up Girdhari Lal and asked him to repay the loan back to Des Raj, failing which, he could be taken to severe task. Girdhari Lal showed up his teeth and charged the police personnel at the thana with a threat to get them transferred to far of places if they pressurized him to repay the loan. Sources claim that Girdhari Lal very bravely had accepted that he owed money to Des Raj at police station Sunderbani, but refused to give him back, challenging police personnel to do any harm to him.
As soon as the police tried its 'measures' to get the money back from Girdhari Lal, the concerned Munshi was called up on telephone by the same MLA threatening Munshi not to harass Girdhari Lal. This gave a surprising shock to the police station Sunderbani as same MLA, few days ago had asked the police and assured Des Raj to get his money back with an assurance to do the needful.
When asked, the concerned Munshi of Thana, as per the sources, was threatened by the MLA to get him 'shot dead' if he or his police personnel at Police post tried to harass Girdhari Lal to repay loan. It is already reported in media that the local MLA of Nowhsera, who belongs to BJP has created a fear psychosis among the people of his constituency. The hapless police personnel and Des Raj, hence are new sufferers at his hands, it was reported from Sunderbani. |
