DPS, Nagbani celebrates 'Hindi Diwas' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 15: 15 Aug., Hindi Diwas was celebrated in DPS, Nagbani with great fervour and enthusiasm. According to press release, Hindi language could be seen at its best in the school where as a culmination of Hindi week various activities took place in the school like Dhovali competition, Kavita Ghoshti, vaad-vivaad on the topic shikasha anivarya laptop ya pustken. In the morning a special assembly was organized in which a speech on the importance of Hindi Diwas was given by the Hindi teacher which was followed by a series of progrmmes in Hindi in which all the students very skillfully displayed their talent. The whole week was observed in a manner in which the students were given the opportunity to understand the teachings of our valuable cultural heritage and also to apply them in their day to day life by showing respect to their elders, valuing the importance of time, coming forward to conserve the natural resources and by taking an oath to speak the truth and being true to oneself. The Principal of the school R.K. Verma in his address highlighted that Hindi is the official language of our nation and the script of this language is easy and simple. |
