Kulgam youth succumbs at SKIMS, death toll swells to 84 9/15/2016 11:23:03 PM Early Time Report Srinagar Sept 15: A youth from Kulgam district of south Kashmir who was injured during police and mob clashes today succumbed at SKIMS in Soura on Thursday, taking the death toll in the ongoing uprising to 84. Police sources said, "The deceased has been identified as Rasik Ahmed Bhat (23), son of Muhammad Yousuf Bhat of Nowpora, Kulgam." Sources said that the youth was allegedly hit by bullet in his head during clashes on September 5 and was rushed to nearby hospital for medical treatment. However keeping in view his critical condition the doctors referred the injured to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment. During his hospitalization, he today failed to respond his treatment the doctors treating him declared him dead at 4 pm today.
