Ganesh Mahatsav was celebrated 9/15/2016 11:30:03 PM Early Times Report Poonch, Sept 15: The festival of Ganesh Mahatasav was celebrated in Poonch city from Sept 4 to Sept 15. The idol of Ganesh Ji was installed at pracheen Shir Durga Bharo Mandir Power House Mohalla, Poonch on 4th of Sept. and Pooja was organized . A large number of devotees were present during the idol installation programme. The Pooja was organized all the days w.e.f Sept 4 in the temple . Today a shoba yatra was started from Pracheen Shir Durga Bharo Mandir Mohalla Alla Pir which passed through main Bazar Poonch and other parts of Poonch like Shutra Bawli, Bus stand, Eidgah Chowk to S.K Bridge where lord Ganesh in was immersed in Poonch river. On the occasion those present included Dev Raj , Pardhan Mandir Commttee Sanjeev Sharma Presendent Tri Murti Seva Dal, Bhibhushan Kumar Koshal Sharma Pankaj Sharma and many others . Meanwhile Sanjeev Sharma president Tri Murti Seva Dal thanked the distt administration for full support and cooperation.
