Weather turns pleasant after below normal temperature in Kashmir 10/6/2016 10:37:37 PM Early Times Report srinagar, Oct 6: Weather turned pleasant again as sun was out today in the Kashmir valley, where temperature witnessed a dip due to light snow on upper reaches and cloudy sky yesterday. A Met department spokesman said here today that weather will remain dry in the Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. After witnessing drop in the temperature yesterday, weather turned pleasant this morning in the Kashmir valley, where people mostly in the hilly areas, could still be seen wearing warm cloths besides Pheran. However, in the plains, including summer capital, Srinagar, people could be seen wearing full or half sleeves sweaters though sun was out today but winds also continued. Met department spokesman said the maximum temperature in Srinagar was two notches below normal while the minimum was near normal though it was several degree less than recorded previous day. He said there will be mainly clear sky and the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 28 degree and 10 degree respectively during the next 24 hours in Srinagar. He said winter capital, Jammu also recorded one and two degree below normal maximum and minimum temperature respectively yesterday. The sky would be partly cloudy and the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 29 degree and 21 degree respectively during the next 24 hours in Jammu.
