Kishtwar Handloom Deptt employee calling shots in DC office for 5 yrs

Kishtwar, Oct 6: Facing acute shortage of staff, the lone class IV employee of Handloom Department instead of reporting back to his department is calling the shots in dispatch section of Deputy Commissioner Office Kishtwar since last five years.
As per the details, the said employee appointed as Orderly Cum Chowkidar in Kishtwar Handloom Department was verbally attached in the office of the Deputy Commissioner with the blessing of previous Congress-National Conference government soon after his appointment.
The sources informed that despite over half a dozen letters written by the various Assistant Directors of Handloom department to concern Deputy Commissioner for his reprimand, but the said employee identified by the sources as Vikas Kumar managed to get stay in Deputy Commissioner 's office.
The sources said that various officials of the Handloom Department from time to time also directed him to report back to original place of posting; but nothinh has moved.
The sources in the administration circle informed that the said employee also has access to various important documents in the office of the Deputy Commisioner and is also said to a have agreat influence in Judicial wing of the office from where weaponry licenses were issued to the people.
The sources said that out of five sanctioned posts in District office, three posts are lying vacant while among the two available; one fourth class is working in the office of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar.
People visiting DC Office also rued the poor behavior of the said class IV employee and demanded his immediate ouster..
When contacted in charge Assistant Director Handloom Kishtwar informed that the notice had already been issued to the said employee with regard to joining his services back in the department addding that there are only two employees in the District Office of the handloom department in Kishtwar and it is difficult for him to run the day to day office business. He assured that he will took up the matter with Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar for his reprimand added that Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar will hopefully ordered his immediate reliever.
