Casual, Need Based Workers' protest enters 45th day 10/6/2016 10:41:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 6: The protest of All Jammu Province Casual/Need Based Workers' Union in support of their demands, entered into 45th day today. Led by State President Akhil Sharma, Jammu Province President Shesh Kumar, Vice President Sham Sharma, General Secretary Sanjeev and Secretary Sawar Khan a large number of Casual/Need Based Workers of Power Development Department from Jammu Region participated in the Dharna and slogans in the support of their demands. Protestors highlighting their demands demanded early release of monthly wages from Wages Head, regularization of workers who have completed seven years of service, insurance policy for workers and compensation to workers who lost their lives or become handicapped while performing their duties.
