Jammu, Oct 13: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita in which various issues discussed threadbare being faced by Kashmiri Pandit community. According to press release, during the meeting they have expressed their grave concern over delay in release of cash assistance relief in favour of the migrant community.
While addressing the participants Pandita said that the Relief holder migrants have the only source of their livelihood i.e. the cash assistance relief and with holding the same adds to the sufferings of these Relief holders who are unable to meet their day to day domestic expenses. They demanded that the authorities concerned should take immediate steps in releasing the cash assistance relief as well as ration for the migrant community.
Others who were present in the meeting including Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, R.K. Raina, Kashi Nath Bhat, Raj Kumar Bhat, Mithan Pandita, Hari Krishan Pandita, Vijay Pandita and many others. |
