Jammu, Oct 13: A training programme was organized in Udhampur to upgrade the sports skill of the community coaches of District Udhampur to organize sports and games competition for the disabled. According to press release, the two days training program inaugurated by Er Ajay Kumar Supdt. Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Udh-mapur and Dhara-mpal Gupta, Supervisor presided over where as Jyoti Parkash, an eminent educationist was the Guest of Honor. In his address Guest of Honor Er Ajay Kumar, Supdt. ITI Udhmapur, Said that it is great opportunity for the guardian & parents of the disabled to avail up to utmost level & every citizen must be part of this movement. The chief guest distributed the certificates and handbook to community coaches and expressed his satisfaction regarding the selfless services for the overall development of persons with disabilities. Field activities/practical's were conducted by State Sports Director Raj Kumar Sharma. Jeetinder Kumar, Programme Manager SOB - J&K managed and conducted the training programme. Kamaljit Kour Sports Teacher/Master Trainer assisted the event. The resource Persons during the program are Raj Kumar Sharma, Kamaljit Kaur, Sahil Badyal, Jatin Chanjotra, Bharat Mahajan. About 58 Community coaches attended the training programme and about 125 youth got acquainted with the SOB movement. |
