As the J&K Civil Secretariat is close on the heels to shift its activities from the summer capital Srinagar to the winter capital Jammu, security agencies are fully geared up to make all necessary arrangements for its smooth transfer and facing an acid test to upheld their image. Secretariat is slated to be closed on Oct 27 at Srinagar and will re-open at Jammu on Nov 6.
According to reports, there are specific intelligence inputs that terrorists are planning to carry out their activities on “Darbar Move”. Keeping in view the threat perception, security agencies are working in an underground manner to thwart the nefarious designs of terrorist organizations. All the places of rented accommodations, which can be used by the terrorists to design their acts, are subjected to routine check up.

Srinagar, October 15:-The state police in particular and the Government in general will lose the services of a talented officer of the rank of Additional General, Mr Kuldeep Khuda as he has opted for deputation to the central Government.
Mr Khuda is at present Additional Director General Intelligence. He has functioned as ADG Armed Police where also he not only promoted discipline but encouraged several extra curricular activities for the men of the police.
