Each time Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad visits Delhi, the rumour mill starts churning overtime guessing consultations with the Congress high command for long overdue cabinet expansion. Interestingly, Azad has been off to Delhi about a hundreds times since August last year –when he inducted some new ministers –but the much awaited expansion has not taken place.

Jammu | Nov 26: To formulate a comprehensive plan for rehabilitation of the militancy victims, as recommended by the Prime Minister's Working Group, the state government is launching a survey of affected people.
The survey is being conducted by the state's Social Welfare Department in coordination with the Rehabilitation Council. December 31 has been set as the deadline for completion of this survey.
