Jammu, Nov 14: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is likely to file two chargesheets in cases related to fraud in the recruitment of Finance Accounts Assistants (FAA) and Junior Engineers (JE).
Notably, most of the accused who were involved in selling question papers of the exams for Police Sub-Inspector were also indulged in committing fraud in the recruitment of FAA and JE (Civil).
Highly placed sources said that some of the accused arrested by the CBI in the Police Sub-Inspector recruitment fraud have admitted their involvement in FAA and JE exams also.
Important to mention here that on August 29, the government has cancelled the recruitment of Finance Accounts Assistants (FAA) and Junior Engineers (JE) over alleged discrepancies. The government also recommended a CBI probe into the selection process.

Srinagar, Nov 14: Even as two migrant workers were injured in a targeted attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on November 12 evening, the duo was attacked with a pistol.
Sources said the duo hailed from the Gorakhpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath and had been putting up in tin shed where they were attacked with a pistol. One of the seriously wounded has been rushed to Srinagar for specialized treatment.

Srinagar, Nov 14: Parts of Kashmir valley received seasons first snowfall and upper reaches also received yet another spell while plains lashes by rains disrupting normal life on Monday.
Meteorological Centre Srinagar forecast of currently weather is overcast in most parts of J&K with snowfall over higher reaches and rain in plains of J&K. Srinagar-Jammu National highway has been closed for vehicular traffic following intermittent shooting of stones caused at Panthyal on the highway due to rainfall this morning, a traffic police official said.
Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road connecting Kashmir valley with Ladakh Union Territory was also closed for vehicular traffic due to fresh snowfall caused at Sonamarg, Gumri, Captain More and Zojila pass on the highway on Monday, the official said and added It was still snowing in these areas.

Jammu, Nov 14: The senior officials of Road and Building department among three died and one seriously injured on Monday when a vehicle they were traveling in skidded off and plunged into river Chenab in Assar belt of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that three officials of Road and Buildings and a driver were onboard a vehicle when it skidded off the road and plunged into the river Chenab near Assar.
"Three officials including Executive Engineer (Xen) R&B Doda, AEE and driver died on the spot while Superintending Engineer (SE) was injured," they said.

NEW DELHI, Nov 14: Law Minister Kiren Rijiju mounted a fresh attack on the country’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, on the Kashmir issue on Monday, claiming that he moved the United Nations under the wrong Article after Pakistan’s invasion, thereby making it a party to the dispute instead of an aggressor.
Rijiju also said Nehru let the “myth” of a UN-mandated plebiscite perpetuate and created the “divisive” Article 370 of the Constitution.
