Jammu, Nov 19: Excise Magistrate Jammu Umesh Sharma today rejected the bail application in dowry death case of one Sudesh Kumari mother-in-law of one Sheetal Bhagat.
According to the police case an information was received by the Police Station, Gandhi Nagar to the effect that one Sheetal Bhagat who was married to one Ajay Kumar has committed suicide by hanging herself by neck.

Srinagar, Nov 19: J&K Police is carrying out searches at multiple locations in Kashmir in connection with the threat issued by the militants to journalists recently.
Police said the searches were being conducted in Srinagar, Anantnag and Kulgam districts of Jammu and Kashmir. NEW DELHI, Nov 19: Former bureaucrat Arun Goel was on Saturday appointed as Commissioner.
A Punjab cadre officer of the 1985 batch, Goel will join Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey in the poll panel.
