Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 29: A video has been circulated on social media, especially from the social media handles of the supporters of the Indian National Developmental Progressive Alliance (INDIA) bloc, in which persons were claiming themselves as leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Interestingly these leaders of the fake RSS are asking people to support non-BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha elections. One person who introduced himself as Janardhan Moon, claimed to be founding president of the RSS. A circular issued by the DSEJ, a copy of which is with Early Times, reads: “With the commencement of the new academic session for 2024-25, it has come to our attention that certain private schools have been violating provisions outlined in the J&K School Education Act 2002. Snow avalanche strikes at Sonamarg, no casualties

Early Times Report Srinagar, Mar 29: A massive snow avalanche struck along the Srinagar Leh highway at the Hung area of Sonamarg in Jammu Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said. New Delhi, Mar 29: The Election Commission (EC) on Friday said its C-Vigil mobile application has become an effective tool in the hands of people for flagging poll code violations and since the announcement of the Lok Sabha election, more than 79,000 complaints have been received. More than 99 per cent of the complaints have been resolved and close to 89 per cent of those were resolved within 100 minutes, the poll panel said. More than 58,500 complaints (73 per cent of the total number of complaints) received were against illegal hoardings and banners, the EC said, adding that over 1,400 complaints received pertained to money, gifts and liquor distribution. NEW DELHI, Mar 29: Out of the 514 sitting Lok Sabha MPs analysed, 225 (44 per cent) have declared criminal cases against themselves, according to the self-sworn affidavits analysed by poll rights body Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR). Out of those analysed, 5 per cent are billionaires, with assets exceeding Rs 100 crore.
