** Some party leaders convert government residential houses into party offices** GOVIND CHOUHAN JAMMU AUG 20 While some senior Ministers and other top bureaucrats have been denied government accommodation, a former Minister was holding the possession of a departmental guest house apart from a government bungalow in Jammu city while several others have turned government allotted bungalows into party offices. . According to sources former Minister for Power was allotted a PDD guest house at Jammu for residential purposes which he even retained illegally even after he resigned as a Minister. On his election as MLC, he was again allotted a government bungalow without handing over the possession of the PDD guest house. Despite government’s clear cut instruction asking him to vacate the PDD guest house, the most powerful MLC has not obliged the government by vacating the premises thereby holding the possession of the guest house illegally. Jammu, Aug 20: Jammu and Kashmir police has registered rape case against an army solider for allegedly raping a minor girl in Banihal area of Ramban district. Sources claimed that the family members of a minor girl, who is resident of Sarbagni village of Banihal, lodged a written compliant in Police Station Ramsoo alleging that their daughter has been raped continuously by an army solider. The complainants, sources told News Agency of Kashmir, further added that the girl was threatened by the solider not to disclose the matter to anyone. Jammu, August 20 Senior Vice President of the state Unit of the BJP Prof Hari Om on Monday said goodbye to politics claiming he is too busy with important academic assignments and was not able to do justice to the position he was holding in the state party unit. Jammu, August 20 The mystery behind alleged suicide committed by Army Captain Mega Razdan in Jammu on July 2 took yet another turn when the police got a new clue indicating a link-up between capt Razdan and her boy friend from Jalandhar. Preliminary investigations revealed that Mega Razdan continued her relations with her Khalsa college mate. Police refused to the name of the boy saying that unless he was interrogated his name could not be leaked out.
