Srinagar, September 25 – Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has said that there is a tremendous enthusiasm amongst the people of USA Europe and other countries of the world to visit Kashmir and enjoy the natural beauty of this heaven of earth. He said the feelings of the people, he had had during the tour of Brussels, USA, London etc. where he met with the Parliament members of 25 European countries, participated in 8 meetings, addresses conferences, met a cross section of people, interacted with media persons, investors, traders, industrialists, intellectuals and opinion leaders, he found that people are highly eager to visit the state as tourists, invest and establish industries here. However, he added, they fear that the atmosphere is not conducive in the state for such economic activities. Chennai, September 25, 2006 One of the south Indian legendary Bharatnatyam dancers and film actor Padmini died of a heart attack in Chennai late on Sunday night. The legendary actress, who was among the first heroines to make it to Kollywood in the south, breathed her last at Apollo Hospital. She was 74. Padmini, who was the second of the famous 'Travancore Sisters' along with Lalitha and Ragini, made her last public appearance at a function organised by Kollywood on Saturday night to felicitate Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. Chandigarh, Sep 25 A local court today fixed October three as the next date of hearing on the bail applications of 14 accused, including two former ministeres, in the Jammu and Kashmir sex racket case.
