Marwah ambush claims Delhi HC blast accused

kishtwar, Dec 20: India's most wanted Hizb militant Shakir Hussain Sheikh alias Chota Hafiz allegedly involved in September 7 last year blast outside Delhi High killing 16 and wounded 79 others got killed in an Army ambush at Qadrini Marwah at around 7.30 PM on Thursday evening.
According to the reports, troops of 11 RR after getting information about movement of some militants in the area laid an ambush on Qadrini Bridge in Marwah Tehsil of Kishtwar district.
Reports said the militants tried to escape on spotting the ambush party. The ambush party challenged them which resulted in an exchange of fire. During the exchange of fire, reports said, a militant got killed. The slain militant was later identified as CHota Hafiz. He was wanted by the National Investigating Agency (NIA) in connect with Delhi High Court blast case and carried the reward of Rs. 20 lakhs on his head.
Another accused Amir Ali Kamal was killed by his associate Rizwan on August 6, 2012 by poisoning him while the third accused Junaid Akram Malik is reportedly killed in a group clash. He was active since 2002 in Marwah and Dachhan area of Kishtwar District.
As per the investigation conducted by the NIA in FIR No: 49/2011 dated 7-9-2011 registered at P/S special Cell Delhi Police in connection with Delhi High Court blast, the investigating agency has prepared the charge sheet against six Indian nationals all belonging to District Kishtwar of Jammu and Kashmir including against the prime accused Dr. Waseem Akram Malik, Amir Abbas Dev both presently lodged in Tihar Jail Delhi, teenager Abid Hussain Bhawani released on bail by Juvenile Justice board New Delhi, Amir Kamal@Akram, Junaid Akram Malik and Shakir Hussain@Chota Hafiz all HM militants.
The NIA has also prepared a charge sheet against over a half dozen foreign militants, a Pakistani Major Ghulam Sarwar, Bilal Bahi, Haroon Bahi and others whose identity could not be ascertained.
According to NIA charge sheet, Dr. Waseem Akram Malik studying Unani medicine in Bangladesh hatched a conspiracy in Bangladesh with foreign militants and later travel to Kishtwar and held a meeting with absconding HM militants including his younger brother Junaid Akram Malik (Untraced) who provided them the explosive that was used in the blast on 7-09-2011 in which 16 innocent people lost his life.
In support of the charge sheet NIA had submit the confessional statement of the three already arrested accused, call details, statement of some key witnesses, email data sent from Global Internet café Kishtwar, beside CCTV footage of Jammu and Kashmir ATM and a Jammu based private shopping complex. In its investigating report, NIA charged Abid Hussain Bhawani for sending an email claiming responsibility of the blast, while Amir Abbas Dev was charged for having a willful knowledge prior to Delhi High Court since as per the NIA Amir Abbas Dev was very much present in the meeting which took place just few hundred meters away from his house near degree college Kishtwar which was attended by Dr. Waseem Akram Malik and other foreign militants who traveled to Kishtwar along with accused.
Dr. Waseem Akram Malik was also charged for hatching conspiracy and helping in execution of Delhi High Court blast with other foreign militants who were still at large. After submitting the charge court declare all the other accused as absconder. The NIA after submitting the charge sheet in court of law still continue its investigation of the case and will submit supplementary charge sheet in the court as and when the investigating agency finds something special in the case.
It is worth mentioning that after tracing the IP address of email claiming responsibility of the Delhi High Court blast to Kishtwar, NIA arrested Abid Hussain Bhawani and Amir Abbas Dev from Kishtwar on 10-09-2011 and later shifted them to Delhi, while 3rd accused Dr. Waseem Akram Malik was taken into custody on 6-10-2012 at Indra Gandhi International Airport New Delhi. The family member of all the accused cries foul and claims that their children's are innocent while NIA feels that they have done its investigation in transparent manner.
