| CDR conference echoed voices of separatism: PK | | 'Promoting secessionist, Pak agenda ' | | early times report
JAMMU, Dec 20: Expressing its concern over the voices of separatism which echoed in recently held conference by Centre for Dialogue and Reconciliation (CDR) here, Panun Kashmir today said that J&K was never a part of partition plan. J&K is the part of indivisible Union of India and there are no stakeholders in the state other than the nation of India, PK chairman Dr Ajay Chrungoo told reporters here today while commenting on the recently held conference by CDR whose agenda he said was aimed at promoting separatist and secessionist agenda. Dr Chrungoo said J&K has been under assault from a regressive militarized movement which has destroyed the freedom of people and unleashed genocides in the state. He made it clear that people, who want to restore everlasting peace in the state should work to defeat the terrorism and its ideology. The PK leader said conference turned out to be a venture to promote the separatists and secessionist agenda in India rather than an exercise for peace, dialogue and reconciliation. The conference has ended accepting the main contention of Pakistan and the radical Islamic establishment in the state which is not acceptable to nationalist forces in the state, he added . He said Paksitan, Jamat-I- Islamia and other Salafi -Wahabi groups along with other separatists formations have been resolutely demanding a tripartite solution to the problem in J&K involving Pakistan and the separatists as the main stake holders. The CDR has played a role of promoting Pakistan as stake holder in J&K at a time when the world at large recognizes it as a mere aggressor not only for its actions since independence of India but also for promoting international Jehad, he added. Warning that PK can't see the activities of CDR divorced from major interventions of Pakistan and the separatist establishment in the state in the recent times, Dr Chrungoo said the visit of Kashmiri separatist groups to Pakistan and their expressions the way the Pakistan Minister Rehman Malik conducted himself in India, the aggressive postures adopted by Pakistan at the ground level as well as at the highest level vis a vis J&K and India and the conclusion of the CDR conference in Jammu seem to be more than complimentary to each other. He said observing the activities of CDR over a period of time PK sees a dangerous selectivity as well as tilt in the activities pursued under the garb of making epace and reconciliation in the state. The CDR has resolutely overlooked the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus and trivialized it. Besides it has abjectly ignored the role of militant regimes operating in the state and the international forces promoting them, he added. Dr Chrungoo said weeding out of all inconvenient opinions from its platform has been the only mantra pursued by CDR to promote its brand of dialogue. He said the PK is baffled over as how the activities of CDR are different than the activities pursued by Kashmiri American Council led by Dr Fai in the recent past. He said that J&K was never a part of the partition plan and it is the part of indivisible Union of India and there are no stake holders in the state other than the nation of India. He said the PK will fight tooth and nail against the forces hell bent on promotion of secessionist movement in the state and declared that on the Homeland day falling on December 28 it will announce the detailed strategy that how to counter the separatist forces in the state.
